Brief History and Locations:
  This is an Asian-American owned National Bank with full FDIC insurance coverage, located in Houston, Texas. The bank was formed by 6 organizers in August 1997 and opened for business on May 18, 1998. The main facility is located at 9999 Bellaire Blvd., near the southeast corner of the intersection on Beltway 8 and Bellaire Blvd. in Houston. This site was chosen because of its proximity to the highly concentrated Asian-American community located along the Bellaire Blvd. corridor. The current facility is located in a 12-story building and the Bank occupies the Ground, 1st, 2nd & 12th floors. Besides the corporate office, there are 4 more branches in the Houston area, including the First Colony branch, Harwin branch, Long Point branch, and Katy branch. In the Dallas area, the Bank has 4 branches including the Richardson branch, Harry-Hines branch, Plano branch, and Carrollton branch.

Information on our Management:
  The management of American First National Bank consists of 13 members of the Board of Directors. Henry Wu is the Chairman of the Board and Bruce Chang is the President and CEO. Mr. Wu has been a Chairman of the Board previously for several years at Golden Bank (formerly Texas First National Bank) and Mr. Chang has been an executive officer at prior banking facilities with over 22 years of experience. The other members of the Board are: Mr. Cheng Yuan Kao, Vice Chairman, Mr. Andy Chien, Mr. Ali Lakhany, Mr. Ronnie Miller, Mr. Steven Sun, Mr. George Tseng, Mrs. Chong-Huey Wang, Mr. Wen-Chuan Chen, Mr. Ray Chang, Mr. Paul Cheng & Mr. Tom Chen. The Board of Directors is actively involved in the overall management of the bank by ensuring that adequate internal controls and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations are met. The Chairman and President & CEO have the responsibility for the management of all aspects of the company to ensure maximum profits commensurate with the best interests of the customers, shareholders, employees and the public. Reporting to Mr. Chang is the Assistant Chief Lending Officer, Linna Lou; Investment Officer, Dawning Ho; the CFO & Cashier, Mike Fann; the Operation Manager, Eleanor Kwan; the Public Relations Manager, Jennie Chang; Marketing Manager, Jennifer Liu; the BSA Manager, Michael Bailey; Manager of International Banking, Loretta Lai; the Chief Information Officer, Bob Moreau; and the Internal Audit Manager, Michael Klobosits. All these officers are very experienced in the operations or lending area and are committed to the excellence of managing their area.

Banking Services
  The staff of American First National Bank is primarily Asian-American and is able to offer to the community the ability to speak many different languages. The major bank services are: 1. Demand Deposit services, including checking accounts, money market accounts and NOW accounts. 2. Time and savings deposit services, including regular savings, money market savings, certificates of deposit and IRA. 3. Loans for businesses and consumers, including working capital, commercial construction, real estate, home improvement, automobiles, personal use and others. 4. Trade financing, including letters of credit, international wire transfer, collections and bill discounts. 5. Other services include: remote deposit, ACH, safe deposit box, International & domestic wiring, cashier checks, money orders, ATM, and Notary. We have an experienced International Banking Department to provide the necessary international banking services. We also have correspondent relationships with most of the major banks in the world in order to facilitate the international transactions. Our involvement in the community is extensive and we have an active Officer Call program. When called upon, we provide speakers to address local schools, businesses and civic organizations regarding the services offered by American First National Bank.

  As of November 30, 2011, American First National Bank had $889,020,000 in total assets, $731,140,000 in total loans, $726,958,000 in total deposits. Our ROA was 4.95% & ROE was 42.4%. Our income before tax was $54,583,000 (last year same period is $11,983,000, not merge with FIB). Our income after tax was $35,831,000 (last year same period is $8,078,000 not merge with FIB). The capital structure of the Bank was solid at $114,103,000. The Risk Capital Ratio was 15.5%. The Bank has maintained an operating profit every year since 1999.
